Why maps look different

Hi all,

During auto refining, does maps were filtered?

The map from last round is different from second last round map. Is it because of binning on the fly and last round it is without bining. Or the maps of intermediate round are filtered ?

Hi Jay, 

The maps in the earlier rounds are resolution limited in the reconstruction step for speed.  This is basically a low pass filter. The final iteration is not resolution limited.
