Hi Tim,
recently I had a problem that whenever I specify the final percentage of the particles used to generate the Ab-initio map, it fails to apply the percentage and for 40 cycles the program is basically using only 10 % particles the default value). I need to use a larger percentage in the final stages as I am limited by the number of particles in my whole stack. I tried to delete the project and start a new one, but the issue is the same. I also tried to reinstall cisTEM, but still I do have the issue. Moreover when I deleted the whole cisTEM package and re-install it, the brand new re-installed version of cisTEM, somehow remembers my old projects that I created before on the workstation. How is that possible? Could this be some sort of a bug or compatibility issue as I am running it on a workstation with ubuntu 16.04?
Hi Gabriel,
The projects are remembered as they are stored in a file ".cisTEM" in your home directory - so this does not indicate a problem.
What did you enter as your initial percentage, and what did you enter as your final percentage?
Thanks,
Tim
Hi Tim,
I used 10% for initial percetange and 60% as final percentage.
And how many images do you have total?
Tim
After 2D classification I end up having about 200,000 particles.
Hi Gabriel,
I cannot reproduce this error - are you definitely using the released beta?
Tim
