I am having some issues with the GUI timing out or freezing during the ab initio step of reconstruction. It will work at a normal speed for the first start, and then around iteration 10 of the second start, the GUI will lag out and eventually crash. Apparently the problem is related to cisTEM competing with the existing job scheduler my university uses, and I'm not really sure how to resolve it? I know that you can write SLURM scripts for this, but this is beyond my area of expertise and was hoping someone could offer some guidance on how to proceed with solving this problem.
Any help that you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

What do you use in your run profile? Have you had a look at this help page? If you cannot solve the problem by changing the job submission command, maybe runnung fewer parallel jobs will help.
