Hi,
I am trying to juggle different software packages. At this point, I am getting very interesting results using classification in cisTEM. I created a package to classify into 3 classes, and would like to obtain information which particles end up in class 1->3. I tried to find this information through sqlite3 and digging in the database, but I can't seem to find that. Thus, due to the fact that .par files are written, I was wondering, do I compare the scores for each "class" and assign the class based on that ? Or am I thinking wrong ?
Disclaimer: I know that I can export the selected class from cisTEM, but it creates a whole new package and I would still like to refer it to my original data.
Please let me know,
Best,
Jean-Paul
Hi Jean-Paul,
You are looking for the information stored in the "Occupancy" column in the par files. This is a number between 0 and 100 which defines "how much an image belongs" to a particular class. So for each image, the sum of occupancies from the 3 par files should be = 100.0.
By the way, you can also view the par file and save it from within cisTEM. There's a little button in Results > 3D refinement, above the Angular Distribution plot. The button ont he left (a document with a plus icon on it). Try clicking that.
Hope this helps
Alexis
Hi Alexis,
Thank you, I appreciate your input. I am still familiarizing myself with cisTEM, but it is a wonderful piece of software. Often times it is unparalleled in revealing flexible domains, I love it !
It helps a lot,
Best,
Jean-Paul
