Unblur - Ubuntu 16.04 - Unsupported bit depth: 16

Dear all,

I am trying to use Unblur to align and 'dose-weight' some frames (CryoET) we collected last week. However; I got
the following error :

2018-10-31 09:51:37: Fatal error (TiffImageFiles::ReadImageFromDisk):
Unsupported bit depth: 16

When changing the file termination by .mrc I got:

 2018-10-31 10:00:41: Fatal error (Unblur): Number of images in input stack not divisible by number of frames per movie

The strange thing is that it works whe running Unblur under Scipion.

Best regards
Eugenio

Hi Eugenio,

It sounds like you are running the old Fortran unblur? This version is no longer updated and does not read 16 bit tiffs.  The version of unblur that comes with cisTEM should read them.

Cheers!

Tim
